"One peculiar side effect of these persona sessions is it’s sometimes the first time different groups talk to each other about the user base in a collaborative fashion. (As opposed to, “Can you get that designed for me by Monday?”) Marketing talks to customer service, design to business, etc. These sessions can be amazing team building opportunities and are very effective for promoting communication and building respect for other departments."
<p-lg>This effect might be even better than the output of the persona itself. It seems to me that this persona meeting would create a high degree of trust between departments and put everyone on the same page of who we're serving.<p-lg>
